1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/4 cups sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. liquid honey
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
1-1/2 tsp vanilla
dash almond extract
1 c. shredded coconut
1/3 c. poppy seeds
Dust these moist, chewy bars with icing sugar if you like.
In bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir together butter, honey, eggs, milk, vanilla and almond extract; add to dry ingredients, mixing until smooth. Stir in shredded coconut and poppy seeds.
Spread in greased 13X9-inch cake pan; bake in 350°F oven for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool on rack; cut into bars.
